Our Qualifications
Jerry Crockett holds the BA from Baylor University and the MDiv. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is an ordained United Methodist Minister and active member at Laurel Heights United Methodist Church where he sings in the Chancel Choir. His primary focus is on retirement planning for individuals and small businesses as well as charitable giving for his clientele of self-employed professionals, business owners, retirees, and others. He attends seminars throughout the country each year to keep up with the latest concepts in wealth accumulation and estate planning. He conducts seminars and workshops on various topics for individuals and charitable organizations. He holds the Certified Senior Advisor designation from the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. The holders of this designation are dedicated to becoming leaders in understanding the needs and issues facing senior citizens today. He is also a volunteer with AARP's Tax Counseling for the Elderly program each year. In adddition, he is a member of the National Association of Financial Advisors and The Financial Planning Association. He is licensed to sell securities and insurance products in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.
Allen Young earned his doctorate summa cum laude and his master's degree magna cum laude. His Bachelor's degree in Occupational Education is from Texas State University and his Associate is a Human Resources Technology degree. Allen retired from the Air Force in 1993 after a successful 22-year career. He is an ordain minister and a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor who continues as an active vounteer in the church. As a professor, Allen taught theology courses, counseling, and a basic finance mentoring course. He holds the series 7 and series 63 securities licenses in Texas as well as being a licensed representative in life, accident, health, and HMO insurance. He strives to be current and astute in both the general atmosphere and the detail changes that occur within the financial field. His review of the book "The Retirement Savings Time Bomb and How to Defuse It" was published in the April/May 2008, NSide Business Journal magazine. Allen, born in 1950, is a "baby boomer" who focuses his practice towards other baby boomers, their children, and their grandchildren.
